Sarah’s graphic recording took the collective understanding of our work to another level. It united us. It motivated us. Our research project is developing through a series of workshops led by a group of young Anangu who are supported by senior Anangu and the Empowered Communities secretariat. Sarah’s participatory approach saw her embed mentoring and coaching opportunities for emerging visual facilitators. She created striking and meaningful images before our very eyes during our first workshop and encouraged the group to keep developing them after the workshop. We are all looking forward to working with her again.

Sarah brings energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to her work. She comes with a toolbox of activities that she adapts to suit the needs of the group, and her graphic recordings are creative and skillful. These recordings provide an alternative way for participants to engage with meeting processes.

The team was so engaged with the facilitated activities and visual outcomes. Sarah’s knowledge of context, relevant tertiary studies and amazing art really helped bring our two-day session to life. Sarah Cook was referred to our team via another Graphic Recorder and I have to say, it was a serendipitous moment as she was a fabulous fit to our team. The team was so engaged with the visual outcomes and will be using one of her designs in an upcoming external presentation on the way we work. We love it, and all the art that was produced for us over the two days. An extra special thanks for the facilitated activities to help get us on track and revive an exhausted group at the end of the second day.
